ACQUITY Advanced Polymer Characterization (APC) System

For High speed, high resolution analysis of low molecular weight polymers
The ACQUITY Advanced Polymer Characterization (APC) System, an ultra-high-performance size exclusion chromatography system, with a refractive index (RI) detector that has been optimized for low dispersion, is an ideal alternative to traditional technologies. The system uses rigid, sub-3-μm, ethyl bridge hybrid (BEH) particle columns that provide significant gains in stability and faster separations.

With APC, researchers can run diverse polymer applications on a single system, on one bank of columns using a variety of solvents. The system’s low overall dispersion can significantly improve analytical resolution, especially for low molecular weight oligomers.


UniSpray Ion Source

A novel ion source for ionization of a broader range of compounds
The unique geometry of the UniSpray ion source generates several different mechanisms to produce smaller droplets and enhance desolvation. These effects combine together to generate a greater number of free ions from the same amount of sample when compared to traditional ionization modes such as electrospray and typically results in an increase in response across a wide range of compounds.
The combination of a broader range of analytes and a potential boost in response give the possibility to consolidate several analysis methods into one, or even just remove the need to change over sources between analyses, saving you time and increasing your laboratory efficiency.


BioResolve Columns for Biopharmaceuticals

Solutions that provide application-focused standards, methods, and exclusive support so you can easily and reliably achieve state-of-the-art separations. The BioResolve RP mAb Polyphenyl Columns are intended for reversed-phase analysis of intact or sub units of mAbs and ADCs using LC-UV and LC-MS; and the BioResolve SCX mAb Columns enable the characterization, monitoring, and QC of charge variants for mAb-based therapeutics during discovery, development, and manufacturing.


VanGuard FIT (Fully Integrated Technology) Column Protection

Available with BioResolve SCX mAb Columns, this new column design combines two pieces into one.  Vanguard column protection prevents particulates and other contaminants from being carried onto the column, thereby extending its working life and reducing the cost-per-analysis without compromising the quality of the separation. Each batch of material used for the VanGuard FIT Cartridges is specifically quality control-tested with a new and commercially available mAb Charge Variant Standard derived from the National Institute of Science and Technology Reference Material 8671 (i.e. humanized IgG1κ) to help ensure batch-to-batch consistency of the new offering.


Automation Partnership

Consumables purposefully designed for automation platforms to streamline complicated workflows. In collaboration with Andrew Alliance, Tecan, and Hamilton for the GlycoWorks RapiFluor-MS and ProteinWorks Kits, the offering includes valued support for automation in the form of detailed workstation layouts and base scripts for easy method implementation. In the booth, we will also feature the MPE2 from Hamilton which is compatible with all of Waters’ sample preparation plates and catridges (i.e., Oasis PRiME), making sample preparation even easier.
